VPNs and WAN
Introduction
Juniper Networks portfolio of WAN solutions offers a range of options that augment your existing network infrastructure to provide secure VPNs and reliable connectivity.
Overview
Wide area networks (WANs) are being asked to do more and more — provide wider reach, better security, and improved performance, while lowering the cost of implementation and operation. More applications and users are creating the need for an extended and consolidated network infrastructure. New applications, such as voice and video over IP, and centralization of application servers increase traffic load and the risk of link delay and congestion.
Juniper Networks WAN solutions include help you extend your network cost-effectively by leveraging both your existing FR/ATM circuits as well as high-speed links like cable/DSL and metro Ethernet. With our solutions, you can securely extend WANs to remote locations by securing traffic through VPN technologies, and improve the performance of applications over the WAN, even for constrained global links and where many applications are contending for the same bandwidth.
