Redline Networks Wins Network World Clear Choice Award

Test Results Demonstrate Redline's Leadership in Compression, TCP Offloading, Security, and Cache Control

Campbell, CA, November 15, 2004 — Redline Networks, Inc., a company that designs and manufactures network appliances that maximize the performance, flexibility, and scalability of Web-enabled applications, today announced that the Redline E|X 3250 was selected by Network World as the "Clear Choice" award winner for excelling in TCP offload, caching, compression, URL rewriting, and content balancing.

"Redline was named the 'Clear Choice' winner as Redline excelled in our compression and TCP offload tests, and addressed important compatibility details," said Thomas Powell, who conducted the "Clear Choice" test. "Further, Redline's OverDrive technology allows for highly customizable rewriting of inbound and outbound data that improves security, makes sites more adaptable to change and improves performance with cache control."

"Network World is widely respected in the industry for conducting rigorous and thorough product evaluations," said Craig Stouffer, vice president of marketing for Redline Networks. "During the days of one-sided, vendor-sponsored bake-offs, it's refreshing to see IT publications continue to provide the industry with highly credible, independent reviews."
